Fundraiser information
We will be doing a wide assortment of fundraisers to better fund our classroom, go on trips, and to help supply materials for the band. This may include instrument repairs, new equipment, new music, or general supply for reeds, drumsticks, and the like. Here you will be able to see our goal and how we are progressing through that goal.
We thank you for your support of the band!

2023 - 2024 Fundraiser: Cookies!
Last year our fundraiser was a MASSIVE success! This victory belongs to the band students and families who worked so hard in getting us the help. We couldn't have done it without you - the parents, families, students, and supporters. Thank you for all that you have done!
To be aware of what our parents and our community would support, many were in favor of fundraising again and doing the same thing for this upcoming year. We will be using the same cookie dough that we did in the 2022-2023 year, so for those who are interested in getting more of that delicious dough the wait is almost over!
Our fundraiser last year was able to support the growing needs of our band and of our amazing students. We were able to purchase multiple boxes of reeds, books, cleaning supplies, materials like drumheads, new percussion equipment, music, and pay for our t-shirts!
This year, our focus will be to continue to support those families in need as far as instrument supplies and books, but to also address the shortcomings of our program. With the cost of living crisis continuing to grow, many potential band students need help in participating in music and thus I am seeking to bolster our instrument supply. With the tragic fire at Highland that devastated the Highland Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Drama, some of the supplies that were requested are being diverted to address the biggest need. Our chairs and stands are expected to be delivered this upcoming school year. Many of our school instruments are also in dire need of replacement and repair, but that has been set off to help students at Highland and get them working instruments.

With your help, and using this fundraiser, it is my hope that we can raise funds to assist our growing program and our families in need. We will be working with U-Fundraising once more to meet our target - $2000 or more! Each box is $20. For every box sold, we get a portion (and a large one at that compared to other fundraiser opportunities). Single serve or bake up the whole box! No thawing needed and it's perfect for when you need a treat on short notice! Store bought dough can't compete with this! For the exact same amount of dough that you can get at Walmart, this is actually cheaper AND it goes to helping the band. The flavors and quality is also so much better than what you can get at Walmart, Smiths, or even Kroger (without paying even more for less). You can order online (no online delivery available, I apologize), pay online, and then have it delivered by our amazing band students and families.
Students who meet our individual student goal point will get prizes - even cash prizes! Last year (if I remember correctly) we had a student walk out with almost $100 in cash prizes. Students who earned their hat this year can get a custom band hoodie! Students who do not have a hat yet, will get that chance to earn it. All students who meet the "above and beyond goal" will get these prizes, guaranteed. Students do not have to participate if they do not wish to, as this is a voluntary fundraiser. However, every box sold - even if it's just one or two - goes to helping the band.
We will be launching the fundraiser in September. So please keep an eye out for information that will be sent out.
If you want to help the band out, please let me know using the contact form. On behalf of the program, I thank you.
